Good food, grown down the road.
My Local Farm Shop is a new directory putting Britain's farm shops on one map. Tell us where you are, and we'll tell you when we're live near you.
- Fresher than the supermarket
- Fairer for farmers
- Often cheaper too

Why farm shops
The shortest distance between a field and your plate.
Picked, not shipped
Supermarket produce can spend days in depots and lorries. Farm shop produce comes from the fields around it, so it reaches you at its best.
A fair price, both ways
With no middleman taking a cut, farmers keep more of what you pay, and seasonal produce is often cheaper than the supermarket equivalent.
Money that stays local
Every pound spent at a farm shop supports a farming family and the village around it, not a distant head office.
Our mission
Putting you back in touch with the people who grow your food.
Somewhere between the field and the checkout, food lost its story. We're building My Local Farm Shop to give it back: one place to find every farm shop near you, what they sell, and who grows it.
It's a straightforward trade. Producers get a better deal and a direct line to their neighbours. You get fresh, traceable food and the name of the person who raised it.
Join the movement

Britain's best food doesn't travel far.
Crop for the Shop
Grow it here, sell it there.
Not every grower has a shopfront. Crop for the Shop is our scheme for connecting schools, allotments, and community groups with the farm shops nearby, so a surplus of runner beans becomes shelf stock instead of compost.
- Local growers earn from what they grow
- Schools turn growing into hands-on learning
- Shops stock produce grown minutes away

When does the directory launch?
We're building our network of farm shops now, region by region. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to hear the moment we're live near you.
Aren't farm shops more expensive than supermarkets?
Often the opposite, especially for what's in season. With no middleman between the field and the till, many farm shops sell fresher produce at a price supermarkets struggle to match.
I'm vegetarian or vegan. Is this for me?
Absolutely. Farm shops are some of the best places in Britain for seasonal vegetables, fruit, and plant-based produce, picked nearby rather than flown in.
What is Crop for the Shop?
Our scheme for people who grow but don't sell: schools, allotments, and community groups supply their surplus to local farm shops, and everyone gets a slice of the deal.
